    THREE LITTLE LAMBS RHYMN

There once were three little lambs that slept with the sheep

Their mom put them to bed but they couldn’t sleep.

She made a cozy spot surrounded by hay

And when she fell asleep they all started to play

The old owl was watching. He was wide-awake.

“Whoo you going to wake with the noises you make.

They disturbed the little piglets. You know what they said?

“Oink Could you please be quiet, we’re going to bed.”

The little ponies nayed, “Shush that noise over there.

You’ll wake up the stallion and wake up the mare.”

The calves all complained, “Moo, stop it now.

You better not wake up Big Mama cow.”

Then the guard dog awoke; they could hear his bark.

You never saw three lambs run so fast in the dark.

When the dog got to the barn, he looked in the door.

He saw three lambs asleep and could hear them all snore.

   THE RAINBOW GUY RHYMN

Today I saw a rainbow guy.

 I couldn’t believe my eye.

I looked up at him and I saw his head,

And then I noticed that it was the color red.

His shirt made him look like a jolly old fellow,

It was two different colors, orange and yellow.

His pants were the brightest that I’ve ever seen.

The color of the grass, the color green.

When I looked down at his shoe

I knew it would be the color of blue.

Do you think purple and violet was there?

It was his shoelaces and it was his hair.

I’ll see the rainbow guy again someday

When the sun comes out as rain goes away

     FISH DREAM RHYMN

There once was a boy who had a dream.

In this dream he was fishing in a stream.

While he was fishing, he made a wish.

His wish was to catch the world’s largest fish.

So he put on a hook and put on some bait.

He threw it in the water but he had to wait.

There on the line, the biggest fish you’ll ever see.

Was it one foot long? Two foot? No it was three!

The fish pulled and tugged as any fish would.

But the boy hung on the best that he could.

And when it got close, that fish thrashed its tail.

It was so large, he thought it was a whale.

He pulled it to shore, but he didn’t have it yet.

He looked around, but he forgot his net.

So he put his rod and reel down by his side,

Jumped into the water, took that fish for a ride!

He rode that fish until he could ride no more.

Both he and the fish were tired and sore.

And then they both stopped. Was it the end?

The boy and the fish both made a friend.

He took out the hook and the fish swam away.

The boy hopes to see his friend again someday.

Then he awoke. Was this dream in his head?

Then why was his fishing pole lying in his bed?

                THE BOY WHO RAN RHYMN

There once was a boy who ran,

Who ran as much as any boy can

He ran upstairs to his room

He even made a running noise Zoom Zoom Zoom!

Ran across the floor, ran out the door

And then he ran and ran some more

He ran down the block and ran straight to school

All the kids walking thought that was real cool

Then he saw the person that he was supposed to meet

You know that boy stopped before he crossed the street

He knows that running could be lots of fun

But if you run in front of a car your running days are done

He looked both ways and crossed, so he could greet that guy

That guy was his big brother coming home from junior high

They crossed the street again and headed down the street

The boy said, “Hey brother, how are your feet?”
“They’re fine little brother. Why do you want to know?”

“Because last one home is a rotten egg. One, two, three, go!”

They both started running the little brother in the lead

Big brother just caught up, little brother put on the speed

When they reached home, big brother was far away

That boy could run fast and run for the whole day

Big brother finally caught him when they sat down to eat

“You know little brother, you got rockets on your feet.”

The boy ate slowly and then ran out again

There is no boy who ran as much as that boy can.
